I offer professional counseling and soul care services for men, women, and children. My practice focuses on helping people with depression, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and those feeling confused or lost, aiming to help them live a happy and successful life.

What’s your approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is integrative, combining different therapeutic methods to suit each client’s unique needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. Additionally, I incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to enhance psychological flexibility and mindfulness. For those dealing with chronic pain, I utilize strategies that address both the physical and emotional aspects of their condition. My goal is to provide a supportive and adaptive environment to foster personal growth and well-being.
How long does therapy take?
The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and goals. On average, many people begin to see improvements within 6 to 20 sessions. Specific treatments often last 12 to 16 weekly sessions. For some, a few months of therapy may suffice, while others might benefit from ongoing sessions. Typically, therapy sessions last around 45 to 50 minutes, providing ample time to work towards treatment goals while fitting into a manageable schedule.
What if we’re not a good fit?
If you feel that your therapist isn’t a good fit, it’s important to address it. You should feel comfortable and understood during therapy. If your therapist doesn’t adapt their approach to your needs, it may be a sign to find a new one. Good therapists recognize that they might not be suitable for everyone and won’t take it personally if you decide to switch.
Practical Matters
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept direct payment from insurance companies. You are expected to pay in full for each session.
What if I cannot make a session (Cancellation policy)?
If you cannot make a therapy session, it’s important to inform your therapist as soon as possible. Most therapists have a cancellation policy requiring notice 24, 48, or 72 hours in advance. If you cancel within the specified time frame, you may avoid a fee. Frequent cancellations or no-shows can result in additional charges or termination of treatment. Policies vary, so check with your therapist for their specific rules.
Can I give you a call?
Yes, you can call me. If I cannot answer, I will return your call within 48 hours. You can also schedule a time to chat through my client portal to minimize phone tag.
